Treat it like a bar

Make no mistakes, this is a bar with a full dining room. Take your business meetings here or tie one on after a rough day at court (right across the street) but come with the intent of drinking. Margaritas are reportedly spiked with Everclear, which explains the 2 Marg limit.

I have gone here for years because their margaritas are the best in town. There food I find to be to pricy for what you get and it really doesn't taste all that great ether.I prefer the outside dinning area on summer nights.

Pros: Margaritas

Cons: Crowded, Expensive, Staff

The Rio has average food at an above average price. If you want great Mexican food go elsewhere. However, if you want fantastic margaritas, this is your place. Cozy up to the bar tables with 10 of your closest friends, order appetizers and margaritas all around and you have the start of a great evening.

Pros: margarita1, margarita2, margarita3

Cons: , price

The title says it all. I agree with each of the previous reviews. It's pretty much a college hangout with the exception of lately it seems to have more of a early 30's -40's crowd there as well. It's a rather loud environment although it does have a great outdoor patio if you prefer. The food is average but the prices are above average for the portions. Good place to unwind after a long week of nagging co-workers & bosses who never let you get your work done without having to remind you when the TPS report is due.

Rio has great margaritas (2 is the limit) but I wouldn't bother with ordering the food. Beautiful patio is preferred seating since the inside can be a bit noisy.
