I was very satisfied I have read many horrible reviews about this place on other sites, but I decided to just take a tour of the place to see what I felt myself. On many of the reviews people described unclean and unsafe conditions. I certainly did not see any of this. Everything looked really clean except for some hair on the floor, but I guess that is to be expected. I love the swimming pools they have, it is so fun to watch the dogs swim through the windows they have there. I like that the place is based on fitness and not just daycare. It means the dogs are really getting a work out. I will continue to bring my dog here for as long as possible.

I don't trust many people with my dogs There are very few people in this world that I would trust to take care of my dogs for any period of time, and Canine Fitness Center is one that I do. There is a lot of care taken to make sure all the dogs are kept as safe as possible. Vaccinations must be current are required PRIOR to walking thru the door. All dogs are tested to make sure they are compatible with each other. The floors and all other area are cleaned and sanitized daily. The owner is very passionate about her business, staff and the care of ALL dogs. I would HIGHLY reccomend to any one that is a TRUE dog lover to check this place out!

A very poor imitation! I am a huge dog lover and a big fan of Canine Fitness in Baltimore Maryland. So when I went to Denver, and saw an ad for Canine Fitness & Fun Center, I thought I had found a sister store. NOT EVEN CLOSE! This place calls themself Canine Fitness and Fun Center, totally copying the true Canine Fitness that has been in Baltimore for years. There is no comparison to the two, none. I visited the denver facility to find a rude lady who acted like her place was the best in town. She kept raving about the news channels that have done stories on her place. Whoopee! Anyone who has ever worked in the media knows that all news stations are desperate for stories and have often featured really lame places just to fill up time between commercials.
But anyway, back to my review... This place is not at all nice and I am really disappointed that they are using the same name of a place that I love. These "pools" that are above ground and basically look like they could fall off their cheap platform scare me. It looks like wood they are on and I swear, it looks so dangerous. The people who work there are not trained in any sort of therapudic swimming and the smell....let me just tell you about the smell. I was afraid I would never get the stink of bleach mixed with urine out of my nostrils. I would never let my dog step foot or paw into those pools. Then I saw the rest of the facility, which was no better. The basement was the worst of all with a nap room of crates in the dark and then another very small room with cheap agility equiptment and these mats of rubber that could only be described as cheap and stinky. The ceilings are very low giving a feeling of being in a cave. So, when they are not in the "pools" they are in the dungeon. Nice.
The outside has a short fence that any boarder collie could clear and no grass or gravel, just hot pavement. I was so disappointed after coming from the real Canine Fitness and also after reading reviews that people actually liked this place. I have to be honest, I have nothing nice to say.
I go back to Maryland tomorrow and I am going to tell them of the very poor imitation. I think it hurts their name to even be compared or mistaken as a chain. This was the worst dog place I have visited, and I visit them allover the country often.
