About the Artist

Mark Johnson was born in Atlanta, , in 1971.  He attended the University of Georgia in Athens and received a B.F.A in Drawing and Painting in 1995, before moving to Colorado .  Mark works primarily in oil and acrylic and has recently begun to paint plein air landscapes using soft pastel.  His work has been selected for juried and group exhibitions nationwide and abroad.  In addition, he has been commissioned for private and corporate collections, murals, and portrait work.

His work is currently on display at Cecilia’s Cigar and Martini Bar, as well as works available for purchase at the Blue River Bistro, both located in Breckenridge, Colorado
