Scott Strong's Gallery

Born in 1957, I grew up in a rural setting on a small horse & cattle farm in Jeddo Michigan. Throughout my youth, I was brought up with a respect & love of horses, nature & wildlife, which greatly influenced my love of creating detailed drawings, creative paintings, and original Wall Murals.       In High School, I had the benefit of widening my art experience while being mentored by an inspirational art teacher who helped to teach me the discipline I needed to expand my artistic talent & creativity.After High School, I followed a career in the Automotive Industry for a time while attending Art classes at St. Clair Community College.  Following marriage, I opened my own Custom Painting, Faux Finishing, and Mural Business, all the while still drawing & painting portrait commissions, creating work for gallery sales & personal fulfillment.       Over the next several years, my original and custom Artwork, as well as Wall Mural Commissions increased for both residential & commercial commissions, further expanding my experience and Art Styles.       More recently, I’ve become a new transplant to the beautiful State of Colorado; I look forward to taking advantage of the miraculous vistas and it’s rich history, and infusing both into my current and future works of art. While working one-on-one with clients, my versatility, experience, and creativity allow me to see the client’s ultimate vision, and draw upon my own inspirations to develop a cohesiveness with the environment, and the artwork I create.
