Fire In The Asylum

  • Bio

Taking their que from Darwinian principles, Fire In The Asylum gives new meaning to the idea of survival of the fittest. Combining fierce performances with creative songwriting, FITA has become a new musical force in their hometown of Denver. People of all shapes and sizes shake their fists and asses, and scream "Hell Yeah!" after bearing witness to their live show. Born in the steamy caulderon of Los Angeles, and like a shark quickly realized they had to keep water moving over their creative gills. The year was 2009 and Roqui had just graduated from Pasadena City College with a degree in Music. Meanwhile Josh and Graham were completing construction on a dilapidated old casino in the Hollywood Hills. So they loaded the van with instruments and proceeded to ignite stages across America with a barrage of incendiary lyrics, throbbing riffs and muscular hooks. They also managed to stay out of jail just long enough to inhabit various recording studios from L.A. to Detroit for their first release. Yet today, instead of writing and rehearsing new material from the road, we find them in Denver. In a house with a basement, and a future full of dreams...
