“My son has been enrolled at Sidecreek for three years now.And I'm impressed, His first year in kindergarten was a rough start he suffered from a broken leg(due from daycare) and the staff was great with him and helped him anyway possible and made it easy for him to be there it ment alot to me.Now he is in second grade and I was impressed to hear that my son is above level in reading and is standard in math.It is an overall great school but some staff needs to change.Sad to say we are leaveing at the end of the year and everyone will be missed.GREAT JOB YOU GUYS!!!”

“My two girls have been there for 2 years now. Last years teacher was great we truly miss her, but this year I find my daughter not wanting to go to school because she is not being challenged enough. Also the front desk staff is very rude. Everytime I have called in for whatever reason they always seem to have bad comment to say. Its horrible and we will not be returning to this school next year.”

“I will be leaving because of a move and I'm sad to go. I have a 2nd & 3rd grader. They have been there since kindergarten. I have had great experiences there. The new principal has done great things for the school. I was surprised the rating wasn't higher. I highly recommend this school. I especially like the class set ups.”

“All schools have their strengths and weaknesses. I think you can determine for yourself how your experience in any situation will be. I have found the teachers and staff at Side Creek to be very cooperative in communicating with me. My second child is finishing up 4th grade this month. We have had our challenges over the years and by keeping the communication lines open with the staff, we have turned the challenges into positive experiences for everyone.”

“The new principal has alot to contend with and is doing a great job trying to implement some changes for the better. I do agree with the comments of the parent posted earlier that some of the staff there are rude to parents and kids. I have voiced my concerns and the principal has assured me there would be some changes made. I have some adjusting to do with the rules, like our children not being able to play on the playground before or after school. It is still only the first month of school for my twin kindergarteners. I will evaluate again soon.”

“My experience with this school was horrible. Both my boys are advanced, but one has adhd. Everytime there was a problem he was either suspenned or was given detition. Which meant no recess, that is horrible for a child with adhd. The teachers were rude and seemed like they just did the minimum. There is also too many kids to one teacher.”

“Side Creek is a very parent involved school. They take their academics very seriously and do strive to help as many kids accel as possible. They have well defined programs and guidlines for the children and their families. The teachers I have had experiences with have been extremely involved and helpful in solving issues. Many of the teachers have been teaching for decades and are quite diligent in their work. I do recommend this school to any parent wihin the district. I have compared it to the nearby school arrowhead that lies in the well known 'cherry creek' district and found that dispite the reputation of the two districts, side creek scored higher marks.”
