Park Hill K-8 School Reviews

My twin boys were transfered to Park Hill because of their exceptional I-COM program for Learning Disabilities. There is an I-COM program in each class up to the 5th grade. I'm am so relieved to know that my children are in good hands! If your child has an IEP with speech and language impediments, bring them here! I couldn't ask for anything more. Every Elementary School should live up to what I see in Park Hill. Outstanding moral, ethics, values and activities for all ages. Parent involement is high too! They really care about you and your children!

There is real excitement about Park Hill School this year. We have a new administration that is already setting high standards and establishing consistency across the school. Park Hill has always had a fabulous sense of community and tremendous parent involvement. The new strong academic leadership and dedicated teachers are poised to take this truly diverse school to new heights. Come check us out ~ great things are happening!

There is a real sense of upcoming success and renewed purpose with highly qualified new administration coming in. The teachers are excited, and that is already carrying over to the students and families! This is going to be a great year at a great school! PH is a beautiful, historic building with a terrific parent population that isn't afraid to jump in and help! That, coupled with the nice mix of young new excited teachers, and experienced administration makes for a very exciting future in this school!

Park Hill is a great school, improving year over year. My daughter is in first grade and has loved her experience so far. The full-day kindergarten teacher was amazing. The first and second grade classes are looped, which has really worked well for us. She has older kids to look up to, and the 2nd graders are seen as leaders within the classroom. The principal is very involved, and the teachers have been quite open to listening and problem solving together. They have a great mix of art, music, computer and PE.

This is a top-notch school that urges parent and community involvement. Students are varied, along with race and income levels.
