Glennon Heights Elementary School Reviews

Mike Collins who is the current principal is working very hard to make improvements school wide. I am very pleased with his changes and with all of the staff at Glennon Heights.

It has been a while since I last attended this school but when I did it was a great learning experience, the teachers were very one on one.

The school was one of the main reasons we moved to the neighborhood. The principals have changed this year (after 7 years) but both have been wonderful. The teachers are top notch! With 213 children in the school, most of the teachers are on a first name basis with all of the students. I would love for there to be more parent involvement, especially in the PTA. My husband and I love the school, as does our daughter. Half way through 1st grade she is working on fractions, money and time. For reading she is already working on advanced chapter books. We can't imagine having her anywhere else.

This has been an excellent school. My daughter at the end of kindergarden can already read whole books with very little difficulty and already knows subtraction and addition and is learning the concept of money. The Principal and teachers are excellent.
