Kendallvue Elementary School Reviews

Cathy Feaster is a terrific Kindergarten teacher. She teaches the full day program

I would not recommend this school to anyone. I guess since 2004 the bullies still roam the halls. My child was new and has not felt welcomed at all. The principal is of no help and actually does not appear to know how to run a school. Promises are made concerning counseling and are not kept and it feels as if they are just going through the motions to keep parents quiet. This is the worst school my children have gone to and I have removed them from the school.

We love this school. The teachers have given my children the best guidance we could have hoped for. The office staff is not only friendly and welcoming, but professional and cognizant of special situations. We appreciate our principal for all the long hours of work she puts in as well as her concern for our kids' safety. For anyone to think that the staff is unwelcoming is ridiculous. It is unfortunate for that person, for they must exude a negative attitude and demeanor to feel unwelcome at Kendallvue. Maybe things will improve for them.

Both my daughter and youngest son have been with this schoole since kindergarden. They are excellent in every catagory you can think of for a school. The teachers are wonderful and support one another. The principal is a strong leader and is attentive to the parents when called upon. A few years ago they were awarded a national education blue ribbon award from the department of education. The school's programs and internal structure is now used as an example for other schoools across the country. I feel this school is a shining example of the possiblities our educational system can achieve.

I would not recommend this school the general feeling is unwelcoming. The office is rude and the principal seems not to care about it, they discourage parent involvement- you are not really allowed in the building at all. No community events, and some very strict policies.I have had issues with the school not contacting me when they should have regarding my child's health. I cannot say strongly enough that I would avoid this school. There are plenty of other Jeffco schools that do a much much better job.

This school is definately a challenge for both of my sons. We came from California where they were both bored, and ahead of their class. Here, they are learning new things, and are excited to be stimulated. Unfortuneately, this school, and probably others, are haunted by bullies.

This school is great!! My daughter has a learning disability and the school was on top of it from the beginning. My daughter is now an A-B student. The staff are imformative and prompt. This school does not tolerate bullying. There is alot of parents that participate in school activities. The teachers and staff remember who you are at all times. Even if you hardly ever go into the school. This school takes pride in its students and always encourages its students to be the best they can be. My daughter was not supposed to go to this school but I picked it because of all the great things they have to offer to the students. This is a Blue Ribbon school. Only a couple of schools in Colorado were picked for this award. I believe you will be happy with this school!!.
