News World Report has released its annual ranking of the best places to live in the US, and Denver is # 1 for 2016. Denver was the number one city in 2016, followed by New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco. In terms of home price appreciation, which exceeds income growth and affordability, Denver is the second most expensive city in North America and the third most expensive city in the world.

It's surprising that the Mile High City ranks first, considering Denver has been one of the coolest cities in the country for years. While Denver's founding generation extolled the beauty of our front range, there is still a strong sense of pride in the history, culture and history of our city.

Denver has long relied on its proximity to Denver International Airport, the Colorado Rockies and Colorado State University as an entertainment center. This means you can watch a game and then just leave town or visit one of the many restaurants, bars, hotels, restaurants and bars in Denver.
