Denver Colorado Denver Broncos

When the details of the Ford Bronco 2021 become available, Mike Naughton and Ford of Denver, CO are ready to share them with you. As Denver prepares to face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, we wanted to see what they announced today. No matter what season it is, what their record is, or who the quarterback plays for, Denver Broncos fans proudly display orange pride with the same fervor and passion. Orange and blue fans and sold-out seasons throughout testify to Colorado's love for the Broncos, win or lose, but no city represents their team as fully as Denver this Sunday.

It is hardly surprising that Denver is now home to one of the United States "biggest sporting events, the Denver Broncos" home games. Sports Authority Field in Mile High also hosts a wide variety of sports, from football, basketball, baseball, football, lacrosse and even rugby, which began in 1999 and captivated tens of thousands of Coloradans during the team's first home game against the New York Giants.

In the 1970s, after the NFL-AFL merger, the Broncos stayed in the division's basement until they had their first winning season in 1973. The Broncos played at Bears Stadium for the first four years of their existence, which they shared with the minor league baseball team.

The magic season came to a disappointing end when the Broncos lost the Super Bowl to the Dallas Cowboys 27-10 in 1978. The Broncos returned to the Super Bowl in 1990 but lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the playoffs in front of more than 30,000 fans. In 2011, the team returned for the postseason and won the AFC West title under quarterback Tim Tebow, who led them to four overtime wins this season, including a 31-20 victory over the New York Giants in overtime.

Denver won a team-record 14 games the next season, followed by its first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history. The Broncos' stifling defense ousted the Carolina Panthers in the AFC Championship Game to claim the third title in franchise history and first since the New York Giants in 2000.

The Broncos were less dominant in 2014, but still won a third straight title - with Manning at center. Manning's subsequent performances were subterranean, and the team buckled in the New York Giants' showdown, losing 39-20. Given their Super Bowl performances so far, Broncos fans watched in horror as Denver was ousted 43-8 by the Seattle Seahawks. The Broncos continued to lead the defense, led by linebacker Von Miller and quarterback Peyton Manning, who used linebackers Von and DeMarcus Ware for 1,000 yards and four touchdowns.

The Broncos couldn't capitalize on their thrilling championship game victory, losing to the New York Giants and Washington Redskins. Denver returned to the play-offs the following two seasons, but lost their first game both times.

This time, a balanced Broncos squad upset the Green Bay Packers to win the franchise's first title. The Broncos celebrate after winning the Super Bowl in front of their home fans at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, on Sunday, January 28, 2012.

The Broncos, who entered the NFL in 1970 with the merger of the American Football League and the NFL, had their first winning season. Denver became known for passing drills we see today, with Hall of Famers Bob Griese and Joe Montana leading a bouncing defense. The revamped team won the AFC championship after the 2015 regular season, and the Broncos set a franchise record for most points in a season by winning 13 games, setting the best record in the conference. As an aging Manning lost effectiveness on the field, the Denver defense became one of the best in the NFL, thanks to a strong offensive line and a young quarterback.

Manning retired in the offseason, and the Broncos began a thorough rebuilding. Shanahan was fired after the 2008 season and Kaiser transferred the team to Patrick Bowlen, making him Denver's third owner in as many years. The Broncos missed the play-offs and struggled to find a reasonable replacement, leading to a 3-13 record and a playoff exit in their first season under Elway. In March 2012, former Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike Shanahan signed with the teams, but his passing mechanics couldn't inspire Elways' confidence.

Broncos owner Pat Bowlen wanted to build a new state-of-the-art stadium with additional luxury suites and club seats to generate additional revenue. In return, the city of Denver took in the revenue for operations and maintenance, but Bowlen hoped to make some money from it.

The Denver Broncos played their first game on October 2, 1960, against the Oakland Raiders at the stadium, and the uniforms have not really changed since then. In 1997-98, a man named Elway and coach John Fox led the Broncos to two consecutive Super Bowl wins. After the 2013 season, they played in Super Bowl XLVIII and after the 2015 season, they won Super Bowl 50. Under Gary Kubiak, Johns coached the team to its second consecutive title and third consecutive playoff appearance in 2015-16.
